Feed Beta-glucanase enzyme Nutrizyme BGL for nutrient absorption
Nutrizyme® BGL is a highly concentrated thermostable β-glucanase produced by submerged fermentation of Trichoderma reesei followed by purification and formulation. The enzyme efficiently catalyzes the depolymerization of β-Glucan in plant materials.
β-Glucan presents big challenges in many cases in that it causes high viscosity leading to difficult filtration and inefficient digestion and absorption of nutrients. The β-Glucanase in the product is capable of degrading the β-Glucans to produce non-viscous low molecular oligomers efficiently, which helps get rid of the problem. When used in feed processing, it reduces the viscosity of gastrointestinal chyme containing β-Glucan and improves the absorption of nutrients and nutritional value of feed.
